Potential Road Blocks to Enlightened Leadership:

The old “playlist title” that has the potential to get in your way is “I am not safe.” 

If this is operating in the backdrop, you may be more vigilant than most to look for potential threats around you.  Subconsciously you may hate the fact that you feel you live in a world where you don’t feel safe, and so you work consciously to prove to yourself that “I can create safety.”  This could show up in behavior that appears larger than life, being more fierce than anyone, and not backing down from a challenge.

In response, those you lead may be intimidated by your fierceness, causing them to hide information for fear of your response, thereby inadvertently creating experiences where you feel betrayed.
